More info about our project: skills we developed

The competencies we developed or improved from participating in the Art of Conflict Transformation Initiative and Variety (ACTIV) are as follow:

  • KNOWLEDGE
We now have increased knowledge of ENF use as possible intervention measures, in preventing and tackling the phenomenon of bullying through learning the three methods: - knowledge-sharing about anti-bullying policies at a European level through presentations made by us, the participants

A presentation made in the county library for teachers and not only

                                                                                                                      - knowledge and understanding skills related to the management of an Erasmus + project through active involvement in all stages of the project.

                                                                                                                        - acquiring knowledge and skills related to the use of modern means of communication, depending on the specific activities of creating DVD, guide, and NETWORKING. You can see some of the games and videos we made here, and maybe you can share with us your own ideas.
                                                                                                                        - a larger awareness network of what bullying is and its negative consequences on young people through CDM activities

  • ABILITIES
We developed the skills to use 3 NF methods (Psychodrama, Sociodrama, methods of Action and ESPERE) as intervention resources in combating and preventing bullying.

We improved our communication skills and relationships with people who speak another language, for example when the teams had to interact with each other and fulfill a task.

We developed skills in negotiation and conflict solving, teamwork and we also developed the skills to promote common values, cultural diversity, tolerance, respect and understanding different points of view to better comprehend what it means to be a European citizen.
Some other skills that we developed during the project are: the skills to think logically and draw correct conclusions, to perform and evaluate the learning process on our own and we improved our abilities to solve problems, make decisions and practice new roles.

  • ATTITUDES

We developed a respectful attitude towards cultural diversity, we built "bully-free" attitudes and skills and most of us improved our anger/conflict management. We also developed a positive attitude towards the learning process and increased our accountability in the report with it.
Recognizing toxic messages

  • COMPETENCES

            We developed competencies in solving the reported situations and we improved our communication skills in a foreign language, namely English. Moreover, we improved our social and civic competences, promoting conflict resolution and communication skills (in English and our mother tongue) as an alternative to aggressive behavior;
Most of us experienced and tried new options, we experimented with strategies and we tried to anticipate results, some of us developed competencies to evaluate others and also self-assess. We could also observe a growth in our self-confidence and in our creativity. Even more than that, our trainer and psychotherapist Irina Gruia empowered our spirit of initiative, our motivation for involvement, active participation, and continuous learning. You can see more pictures here.

Along with these values, we also acquired: collaboration, altruism, equality, respect, responsibility, solidarity, tolerance, fairness, integrity - as standards of social behavior derived from social interactions within the activities ENF, but which are not limited to them.
It is said that "IF YOU'RE NOT PART OF THE SOLUTION, THEN YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM." Do you agree?
